Installation Instructions

  1. Locate a nearby faucet and measure the water pressure. Adjust the valve appropriately by replacing the spring as per chart A-1 below.
  2. Locate the water meter. The W.A.V.E. device has to be installed in a section of pipe from the meter to the backflow, always after the meter on the customer’s property side.
(Maximum distance recommended from the meter 18 feet).
  3. Take section of existing pipe, unscrew a connection and put the valve into the pipeline in the direction of the water (see arrow on the valve to be sure that this set in the right direction).
  4. Finally, put in the section of pipe in its original position and check that everything inside the installation place is working correctly.
